I used these as I was refinishing an old rocking chair. Lots of spindles and curved surfaces and some gingerbread. The pads are a nice size to work with and are well identified as to grit. Mine were 220. I went through a number of these on this project, but I got great results from them as a result. the chair is done and it looks professionally finished. I have some left (sanding pads), but rest assured, when I 'm out of them I'm buying more. They really work well and are easy to use. I could not have finished my rocking chair without them. - Jisky

I am currently using these for wood projects. I like the sanding ability of the sponges. Works great on both hard woods and soft woods. Works great between stain coats and clear coats. Color of paper does not run onto wood and these sponges are very durable even after being wet, and the grit last a really long time becoming finer finer over time rather than just going flat and dull. - Robb
